This term in my reading group we have been reading a book called Hatchet by Gary paulsen. So far we have read up to chapter 4, I know that the main character is Brian Robeson he was going on a plane trip to his Dads house he is the only passenger on the plane. He is with an elderly pilot the pilot had a heart attack and Brian had to fly the plane by himself. They were flying over top of the Canadian forest there were lots of lakes until he tried to land there was none infront of him. He tried to land in an L shaped lake to his right. He landed on the side of the lake he tried to get out he did. He fell asleep by the lake and woke up at dawn...
I think he will try to make a shelter using his suroundings and kill the animals for food and start to head back on a journey.
If I were Brian I would be scared out of my pants I would be in a massive situation I would be scared, frustrated, confused,
