Yesterday I went snorkelling at a place called shark alley. There were sharks and sting ray everywhere and I was swimming right beside them! Tomorrow I leave Belize and head to Guatemala. Enjoy your first day back!
First day of term 2, wahoo!! Sounds like you've all had some pretty cool holidays! I am in Belize at the moment staying on a small island called Caye Caulker. It is beautiful! They don't have cars on the island, everyone gets around by golf cart.

Hola amigos! Have spent the last week or so in Guatemala and have seen and done some pretty awesome things! Spanish is the language again and I'm feeling a bit more confident using little bits when I talk to people... First stop: Tikal! Towering pyramids poke above the jungle canopy and howler monkeys swing noisily through the branches of the trees (look up the sound a howler monkey makes, it sounds like a dinosaur!). Tikal is a special place where ancient Mayan ruins are found in the middle of the Guatemalan jungle and we were lucky enough to climb some and enjoy the sunrise! Semuc Champey was our next stop. It is famous for its natural limestone bridge, 300 metres long, on top of which is a stepped series of pools with flowing river water good for swimming. Our last stop in Guatemala was Antigua. People come here to climb some of the 37 volcanoes in Guatemala, 3 of which are still active! We climbed Pacaya volcano and toasted marshmallows on the hot rocks of the crater at the top! Hola amigos! Have been in Mexico for the last few days. The weather is hot, everyone speaks Spanish and I've eaten A LOT of tacos! So far in Mexico I have done a lot of swimming, today I went quad bike riding, abseiling and zip lining. Tomorrow I am catching a bus and heading to Belize, see if you can find it on a map!
Hope everyone's holidays have been safe and relaxing and you are looking forward to an exciting term 2. Thanks girls for the comments, share your most exciting holiday moment in the comments below so I can catch up! See you in two weeks! Adios! Have had an amazing trip so far. Am in LA, went to Universal Studios and the Hollywood walk of fame yesterday. About to fly to Las Vegas! Hope everyone is enjoying their last week of school!
